Eyes of Reality

We see, we look and we picture
In our words, we interpret
It is not always the same
Creating the difference of perspective and reality
The difference can be lethal, tolerable, painful or joy
It has been the source of war or peace
Inside and outside a man
All the pictures that man see, which one is the truth and reality
How to differentiate between the two
We could made it up and believe that is the truth that we see
Is it?
Or just a collection of experiences and stories
Ahh.. that question that made the thoughts running wild
It is like ....
Waking up in the middle of a pitch dark cave and desperately searching for any trace of light
The light that we hope would calm us down
That would lead to a state of tranquility
Hoping that, that light can bring us out of the dark
What do you see?
Am I in a dream? Should I wake up?
Will there be light when I open my eyes?
What do I want to see ...

Building A Rome

Many people want a Rome for themselves. What is a Rome to you? Some see it as status, icon, some see it as a symbol that relate to success. When you go to Rome, what do you see? What do you feel?
We admire the buildings, the architecture, the technology, the messages, the leadership, the history of this place. Sometimes we imagined how does it look like living in Rome at their peak or even now. Questions that I always ask,  Who built Rome? How long did it take to build Rome?

A lot of people want to bask in glory and demand "I want a Rome NOW!"
Rome is not build in an hour.
It takes patience, dedication, commitment, persistent, openness to build a Rome. Most importantly, it is not build by one person, it was built by many. Rome does not belong to only one person, it belongs to many.

Gratitude

A big word but yet easy
A simple gesture and action that we are able to do
Taken for granted most of the time
So what could it be for you today
That would be a reflection of gratitude
A thank you
A smile
A gaze
A touch
There is no limit to express gratitude
Neither the time limit for being grateful
Maybe for now
A thought of being in gratitude would suffice ...
